Coming on your own? Our local hosts will help with the first hello. They welcome new guests, introduce people, and help quieter guests find a way into the conversation. Hosts have been guests here too, so arriving solo is familiar territory.
Taipei Weekend Social is about making friends beyond your usual circle. Travelers, expats, students, working-holiday visitors, business travelers, remote workers, and short- or long-stay newcomers are welcome, alongside Taiwanese locals and people returning from overseas.

Find your kind of evening 🎤
1F — conversation, darts, and music. Pick up your included drink and meet people downstairs. It’s quieter than the karaoke floor and better suited to chatting.
Outdoor area — a quieter conversation. Step away from the music when you want to keep talking.
2F — karaoke and more energy. Sing if you feel like it, or listen and hang out. Move between spaces whenever you like.
No singing required. No need to drink alcohol. English and Mandarin come naturally into conversations, but this isn’t a structured language exchange: no language tables or lessons, just a social evening focused on friendship.
Saturday essentials
Every Saturday · 7:30–10:00 PM · Taipei time
NT$400 per person, including one drink. Choose an alcoholic or non-alcoholic option.
Pay at the door by cash or card. Cash is recommended for quicker check-in. Walk-ins are welcome; RSVP is recommended.
After 10 PM: your plans, your choice
Saturday has no organized host-led afterparty. If you meet people you click with, you can arrange late-night food, another drink, a trip to MAJI Square or Xinyi, or somewhere quieter to talk. Transportation, additional drinks, and any later venue entrance fees are not included.
Looking for future pickleball partners? You may find people to swap contacts and court tips with, but there’s no pickleball at the event.
Prefer a hosted continuation? The organizer also runs a Friday Solo Travelers & Expats Social + Hosted Night Out. A local host usually takes interested guests onward to MAJI Square in Yuanshan or a DJ bar in Xinyi.

台北週六國際交友夜｜一個人也能加入
想認識生活圈以外的朋友？現場的 local hosts 會迎接新朋友、幫忙介紹，也會照顧比較慢熟、還沒加入聊天的人。旅人、外籍居民、國際學生、打工度假者、商務旅客、遠距工作者，以及想拓展國際朋友圈的台灣人、剛從海外回來的朋友，都歡迎來。
每週六 19:30–22:00｜MTB TeaBar 米蓮娜茶酒吧
地址：台北市大安區和平東路三段 66 號 1 樓。
一樓可以聊天、玩飛鏢、聽音樂；戶外區更安靜；二樓是熱鬧的 Karaoke。不必唱歌，也不必喝酒，想換個空間就自由移動。中英文都會出現在聊天裡，但沒有語言桌或課程，重點是交朋友。
每人 NT$400，含一杯酒精或無酒精飲品。 現場付費，可用現金或刷卡；方便的話請準備現金，報到較快。建議先 RSVP，也接受直接到場。兩人同行仍是每人 NT$400，兩人共獲得 2 張 NT$50 飲品折扣代幣，可在活動期間加點飲品時使用。
週六 22:00 後沒有主持人帶隊續攤。 聊得來可以自己約宵夜、喝一杯，或去 MAJI、信義區；後續交通、飲品與入場費另計。想找匹克球球友，也可以交流聯絡方式與球場資訊，但現場不打球。
想參加有人帶隊的續攤，可參考週五 Solo Travelers & Expats Social + Hosted Night Out；主持人通常會帶想繼續玩的朋友去圓山 MAJI Square 或信義區 DJ 酒吧。上方連結可查看完整活動表及報名，不需要 Meetup 帳號。
