Leave the city rush for a while and spend an evening walking Taipei’s riverside with new people. There’s room for conversation and a short break along the way; just come ready to keep a steady pace.
From Taipower to the riverside
We’ll meet at Taipower MRT Station, Exit 5, head toward Hakka Park, then reach the riverside. From there, we’ll follow the river path through Wanhua toward Ximen, returning to the city streets and finishing near Ximen MRT Station.
This is a social walk, but 10 km is a substantial distance. Make sure you’re comfortable walking that far at a steady pace. The route may change if unforeseen circumstances arise.
A drink—or straight to the MRT
After the walk, you can stay for a drink on one of the terraces around Red House, Ximen’s open-air bar area. Prefer to head home? Go straight to the MRT. The after-walk stop is entirely optional.
Before you sign up
Bring enough water and any snacks you’ll need for the walk.
