🍜Asian Background Social: Lounge Asia Meetup (Easy English) @ Taipei 7pm

Come alone, order a drink and talk to people. There are no icebreaker games and nobody makes you stand up and introduce yourself. You also don't need perfect English. 🍜

A friendly table to sit at

Lounge Asia started in the Asian community, so people from Asia often feel at home here. Everyone else is welcome too: locals, expats, travellers, students, returnees and digital nomads. Practise your English, swap languages and make a few new friends in Taipei.

Many guests come alone, so it's fine if this is your first time.

Getting in takes 3 steps

2. Show your Meetup QR code at reception.

3. Get your name tag and say hi to someone.

A few simple rules

• Please buy at least one drink. The venue helps keep this event free or low-cost.

• Bring a valid government-issued photo ID. No photo ID, no entry. Driver's licences must be issued in Taiwan.

• This is not a dating or pickup event. Harassment, unwanted attention and MLM, crypto or religious recruiting are not allowed. Anyone who makes others uncomfortable may be asked to leave right away.

• Photos and short videos may be taken for the community. Don't want to be in them? Just tell an organiser when you arrive.
