🍜Asian Background Social: Lounge Asia Meetup (Easy English) @ Taipei 7pm

You walk in alone, show your QR code, and pick up a name tag. Five minutes later you're at the bar comparing hometowns with someone from Osaka, and nobody minds that your English pauses now and then.

That's a normal Lounge Asia night. It's a relaxed meetup for making international friends in Taipei, practising easy English and just talking. No games, no forced introductions.

Asian roots, open door

Lounge Asia started in the Asian community, so many people from Asia feel at home here quickly. Everyone else is welcome too: locals, expats, travellers, students, returnees and digital nomads. Your English doesn't need to be perfect. It just needs to be friendly.

Getting in

3. Get your name tag and start saying hi

Check the time: Meetup might show Brisbane time or a different time zone. Go by the Taipei local time above.

House rules

The venue lets us run this for free or cheap, so please buy at least one drink during the night.

We may take photos and short videos for community and promo use. If you'd rather stay out of them, tell an organiser when you arrive.
