Grab a box. With 350+ to choose from, picking one might be the hardest game of the night. Then sit down with people you haven't met yet. Somewhere between reading the rules out loud and arguing about who actually won, they stop being strangers.

People at the tables speak English and Mandarin. That makes it a relaxed place to try out your 中文 or warm up your English, and nobody's grading your tones. Board games, language, culture, and a bit of friendly trash talk.
