Somewhere between the first round and the second pub, you realize you've been trading slang with someone who grew up three streets away, and someone else who landed in Taipei on Tuesday.
That's the whole idea. Every Saturday at 7:30 PM, locals, expats and travelers in their 20s and 30s meet for language exchange, cultural swaps and an easy night out. Your Mandarin, English or whatever else you speak can be fluent or very shaky. Nobody's grading.
How the night rolls
We start by gathering and meeting the group. Once everyone's settled in, we head out to two pubs we've picked ahead of time around the city. The route changes every week, so a regular's tenth Saturday won't feel like their first.
You don't need a wingman or a perfect accent. Just bring some curiosity and maybe a phrase you've been wanting to practice.
