Let's Talk in English 🇹🇼 🇺🇸 🇬🇧 🇦🇺 🇨🇦 🇯🇵 Zoom

The best way to fix rusty English is to talk. This is a free weekly Zoom hangout. People from Australia, Japan, Italy, Germany, France and a lot of other countries log on and chat in English. No textbook and no grammar quiz, just conversation.

The hosts say more than 50 people join every week, so there's nearly always a new face and a new accent to meet. 👋

Late? Leaving early? Totally fine.

You can join after it starts and leave before it ends. If all you have time for is a quick hello, come say hello anyway. Nobody keeps attendance.

Getting in

Open the link in your browser or in the Zoom app, then enter the passcode.

Check your clock: the group runs on Spain time. If you live somewhere else, including Taiwan, write down your own local start time before the day comes.

House rules

• Have fun, and make room so everyone gets a turn to talk.

• Strictly off-limits: dating, politics and religion.

Beyond the screen

The group also runs in-person events now and then. Follow the group to hear about every kind of event as it's announced.
