Funny Women Taipei is having a birthday, and the plan is simple: a basement room on Linsen North Road and a mic. The comedians on that mic are all women and non-binary.
The only night like it in Taiwan
No other comedy night in Taiwan books only female and non-binary comics. This birthday edition brings in some of the sharpest comedians from Taipei and from further away, all doing stand-up in English. So you can follow every punchline even if your Mandarin stops at ordering bubble tea.
Birthdays are for celebrating. This one celebrates by having funny people say true, weird and occasionally unhinged things into a microphone while you laugh in the dark.
Here's the setup
The comics: women and non-binary stand-ups from Taipei and beyond
The language: English the whole way through
The vibe: a birthday party where the entertainment is the guest list
Head downstairs
The show is in the basement (B1) at 286 Linsen North Road in Zhongshan. Look for the stairs going down.
Bring a friend, bring your birthday energy, and save your heckles for someone else's show.
