The table is set, the cards are shuffled and nobody needs to be fluent in anything except "your turn." This is a board game night in Zhongshan where you play with people from all over the world. You'll chat in English and Mandarin, maybe pick up a few words of Korean or Japanese, and work out together who's secretly been winning the whole time.
How it works
Come in, grab a cup of free green tea and sit down at a table. Games are a pretty easy way to start talking. You'll be laughing over a bad move before you get around to asking where everyone's from. It's for anyone who wants to practice a language, meet people beyond their usual crowd, or just play something new.
Entry fee
Finding the room
The room is in Hua The Building, Room 2, 5th Floor, No. 575, Linsen North Road, Zhongshan District. It's close to MRT Zhongshan Elementary School Station.
Before or after: night market time 🍢
Shuangcheng Street Night Market is just nearby. Grab dinner before you play, or go there afterwards with your new teammates (or rivals) for a post-game snack.
