That's the kind of question you might find yourself answering in front of people from the other side of the world. Then the groups reshuffle and you start again with new faces. It's English practice that feels like hanging out, because the talking is casual and real.

Hi, I'm Chloe 👋

I'm a certified English teacher from the United States. I started this online club so people could practice a language by actually using it in conversation, without drills or scripts. You talk about interesting topics in a small group with people from all over the world.

How an hour goes

Each round has its own topic and discussion questions. After every round the groups get mixed up at random, so you'll talk with different people each time. You get speaking practice, and you also hear opinions you wouldn't hear at home and learn a bit about other cultures.

What the topics look like

The topics change every week. Here are a few examples:

• What would you do if you ran into your crush?

• Have you ever taken the MBTI test? What's your type?

• Do you believe in love at first sight? Why or why not?

• What are you most worried about right now?

What it costs: nothing

It's free. You don't need a credit card and there are no ads.

How to grab a spot

1. Find a session on the sessions page

2. Create your account

3. Click Book on the session you want

4. At session time, open the session page and click Join. Your Zoom invite is also emailed to you when you sign up for a session.
