Forget what Nietzsche thought. This afternoon is about what you think, said out loud to a few curious strangers who might gently push back.
Practical Philosophy Taipei meets every two weeks in a basement spot on Shida Road. Each session takes one topic and turns it into real conversation. It's free, you don't need to read anything first, and you don't need a philosophy degree. All you need is an opinion and the willingness to change it.
How the afternoon goes
Once there are more than 7–8 people, we split into smaller groups. That way it stays a conversation and never turns into a lecture. There's a 15-minute grace period, but after that a late arrival breaks the flow, so try to be on time.

Is there one school of thought? No. Every school is welcome, and dogma is not. If you have a religious or philosophical angle, bring it.
Can I come alone? Yes, and we encourage it.
Is it mostly guys in a dark room with candelabras? No. Attendance is usually about 50/50, and the lights stay on.
Cost? Free. If we're meeting in a café, please buy a drink. If a chapter rents a space, it may ask for donations, but they're always 100% voluntary.
