Saturday Tea Gathering (Walk-ins)

Come in as a stranger, and you'll probably leave knowing seven more people. Expect one table, a few rounds of tea and a mix of Taipei locals and travelers who came in off the street just like you.

This week only, at Muyèh Tea Room

This Saturday, Muyèh Tea Room is hosting the evening. Nothing is scripted. Someone pours, and someone else asks where you're from. The talk goes wherever it goes, and the cups get refilled along the way.

We don't announce the tea ahead of time. You'll find out what's brewing when you sit down. The tea and snacks keep coming all night.

The short version

There are only eight seats per session, so the table stays small enough for everyone to actually talk.

Finding the room

It's on the third floor of No. 11, Lane 148, Section 2, Xinyi Road, in Da'an District. That's a short walk from Dongmen Station Exit 4, in the Yongkang neighborhood. Head up the stairs and follow the smell of tea.
