Come by yourself and find your crowd by the second round of UNO. Every Saturday, MTB TeaBar in Da'an turns into an international hangout. You'll find karaoke upstairs, darts downstairs, a patio for slower conversations, and hosts whose whole job is making sure nobody stands in a corner alone.
How the night unfolds
Pick a floor (or all three)
2F: Karaoke & board games. Grab the mic, or skip it and play UNO, Jenga or a board game. Nobody's checking whether you sang.
1F inside: Darts & drinks. Throw a few darts, talk to whoever's next in line and keep the music going.
1F outside: Chat & chill. A quieter spot for when you'd like to actually hear someone's travel story.
You can move between all three areas whenever you want.
Coming alone is completely normal here
Lots of guests come solo. The hosts say hi when you arrive, introduce you to people and pull you into a game, so you never have to work out who to talk to first. You'll meet solo travelers, expats, international and exchange students, digital nomads, working holiday visitors and friendly Taiwanese locals. You can speak English or Mandarin. This isn't a dating night or a formal language exchange. People come to make friends.
The 10 PM fork in the road
If you're not ready to go home, your host takes the group to a nearby music bar playing hip hop, house and more. The bar can change from week to week. The bar hop is optional, and drinks, transport and any entry fee at the next bar are on you.
