A project to move forward. People to work alongside. No networking routine to perform.
The Trenches brings founders, nomads, and remote workers together to get things done—not spend the afternoon only talking about it.
A quick Huddle, then your own work
We start with a brief Huddle: introduce yourself, share what you're working on, and name your goal for the session. It gives your afternoon some accountability and lets others know where you could use a hand.
Then settle into your work. There are no scheduled breaks or rigid agendas. Take a breather when you need one; talk with a neighbor when it feels natural. No forced discussion, no structured networking.
Business-model pivot? Product or marketing question? Technical roadblock? Or just a tough stretch of working for yourself? There's room to swap ideas and talk things through alongside the work.
If the group still has energy afterward, we may head out for a drink or dinner. That's optional, not another item on your to-do list.
Bring whatever you're working on
Freelancers, students, and people with projects are welcome too. Any industry, any career—the shared interest is making progress with some company.
A few ground rules:
Purchase at least one drink or food item to support the venue.
No soliciting or sales. This is co-working, not a marketing opportunity.
