It's your turn. You flip a card, the English word goes blank, and someone across the table helps you out in Chinese. Everybody laughs, and then you just keep going.
There still aren't many language exchanges in Taoyuan, so we made one. It's a relaxed spot where you can practice English and Chinese without the pressure. Switch between the two however you like, take your time, and speak up when you're ready.
You don't have to be fluent, or even confident. Swing by, get a feel for the vibe, and decide later if it's your thing. If you're not ready to talk yet, there's a board game to hide behind (we have over 100 of them).
