You've read the paper and run the experiment. Maybe you found an eval result that makes no sense. Bring it here. This is a weekly room in Taipei where AI engineers and researchers compare notes with other people who are deep in the same problems.
How a night runs
$ ./weekly_talks
> lightning_talk # if one's on
> open_discussion # group steers
> deep_dive|demo # sometimes
A short lightning talk to start, when there's one lined up. It covers a technical AI topic and gets specific enough to start a real argument (the friendly kind).
Open discussion run by the group. People share approaches, questions and experiments, and the conversation goes wherever the room finds it most interesting.
An occasional deep-dive or demo, where the group works through something together.
Who shows up
AI engineers, researchers and hands-on builders at every experience level. A junior engineer's sharp question counts as much as a senior researcher's war story. What everyone has in common: they actually build things, and they like thinking out loud with other people who do too.
You don't need to prepare anything or know the right buzzwords. Just be curious and willing to have your assumptions questioned a bit.
Find the room
The meetup is on the second floor of No. 123, Section 1, Fuxing South Road. Take the stairs and look for the people arguing about context windows.
Come once to see what it's like. If it works for you, come back next week and we'll pick up where we left off.
