The Trenches is a weekly coworking group in Taipei for getting sh*t done alongside other people building, freelancing, or working remotely. Not a room full of pitches. Not another discussion-only meetup. Bring what you’re working on and give it some focused time.
Monday: a goal, then the work
Every Monday · 14:00–18:00
We begin at 14:00 with a Huddle: a quick introduction, what you’re working on, and what you want to accomplish that afternoon. A little accountability, without turning your workday into a performance. Sharing your goal also lets others know where a useful idea or a second perspective might help.
Then we get to work. There’s no rigid agenda and no scheduled break. You manage your own time: concentrate when you need to, step away when you need a breather, and chat with your neighbor when it feels natural.
There’s room to exchange ideas and talk through the things that get you stuck: a business-model pivot, a technical roadblock, product or marketing questions, or the mental grind of doing it all yourself. Conversation is welcome, not compulsory.
Bring your project, not your sales pitch
Founders, freelancers, digital nomads, remote workers, and independent builders are welcome. So are students. Any industry or career background fits; the point is to make progress alongside people who are doing the same.
You don’t need a polished introduction or a networking strategy. Just something to work on and a goal for the session.

If the group still has energy afterward, we may head out for a drink or dinner. Entirely optional—a chance to close the laptops and keep the conversation going.
