IEnglish Saturday Gathering(Welcome All Nationalities)

Three hours of real English conversation on a Saturday afternoon. You'll talk about the news, take apart an article, hear a short speech, and get honest feedback from people who also want to get better. All nationalities welcome.

Who's at the table

We're Taipei Interactive English Club (iEnglish), a non-profit English study and conversation group. We meet on two or three Saturday afternoons a month, and English is the only language spoken while we're together. Most members are office workers and grad students. You don't need perfect grammar to join in, just the willingness to talk.

How the afternoon runs

You can find upcoming dates and the rotation of hosts, speakers, and gourmets on our schedule.

The money part

• Entry: NTD 160 per gathering for everyone, members and guests alike. You pay it at the 1st-floor counter of Human Space.

• Try it out: Guests can come twice. We ask you to join by your 3rd visit.

• Membership: NTD 1,500, one time, for life. It pays for club operations, equipment, and activities.

What members get

• The chance to be a host, speaker, or gourmet, which means more time speaking and more practice

• Priority for monthly outings, the Christmas party, and other member events

• The option to join the officer team and help run the club

We meet at Human Space 人性空間, a café-style spot close to Gongguan MRT Exit 4.
