Come by yourself, practise easy English, and settle into real conversation with people from Taipei and beyond. This is an Asian-focused social night built for relaxed connection—not perfect English, not awkward games, and not forced introductions.
Lounge Asia began within the Asian community, and people with Asian backgrounds often find a familiar, comfortable atmosphere here. Locals, expats, travellers, students, returnees, digital nomads, and globally minded people are all welcome. Come for language exchange, a few good chats, or simply a friendly place to say hi.
The plan is simple
No structured icebreakers. No pressure to perform. Arrive, get your name tag, order a drink, and start meeting people at your own pace.
The meetup runs 7pm–10pm, Taipei local time. Meetup may display Brisbane time or another time zone, so please follow the Taipei local time here.

The venue helps make this free or low-cost gathering possible. Please purchase at least one drink during the event to support the space and help keep the community meeting at great venues.
Keep it comfortable for everyone
A valid government-issued photo ID is strictly required for entry. No photo ID, no entry. Driver's licences must be issued by the government of the country where the event is held.
Photos and short videos may be taken for community and promotional purposes. If you prefer not to appear, please let an organiser know when you arrive.
