Friday Taipei Weekend Social Bar Night: Meet Friends & Travelers

Come on your own—there will be people to meet when you arrive.

This is a hosted Friday night for Taipei locals, international residents, digital nomads, remote workers, students, and travelers who want an easy way into conversation and nightlife. Hosts make introductions and help solo guests find their way into the group.

Start with conversation

The host-listed first stop is Somewhere Bar 那裡, near Liuzhangli MRT Station. Settle in with your included drink, meet the group, and talk about Taipei life, travel, remote work, culture, or whatever comes up. English and Mandarin are both welcome—this is natural conversation, not a formal language class.

The Friday flow

Continue to Maji—or call it a night

Around 10:00 PM, hosts gather anyone who wants to continue and lead the group to Maji Square for bars, music, DJs, dancing, or more conversation. You are welcome to join the move, stay only for the first bar, or leave whenever you like.

What your entry covers

NT$350 includes one wine, beer, or non-alcoholic drink at Somewhere Bar. Transportation, drinks at Maji, and any venue entry fees at Maji are not included.
