An hour of real Mandarin conversation every Sunday evening, with people who are also figuring out tones, measure words, and how to order bubble tea without pointing. It's free, it's at the Taipei Mandarin Center (TMC), and you don't need to sound fluent. Just show up and try.
說中文就對了
The hour is built around speaking Chinese, so plan to talk in Mandarin even if yours is still a work in progress. That's the whole point. Drinks are on the table, so your throat survives all those third tones.
The event runs in English, Japanese, and Korean groups, all at the same time and place. Pick whichever language you're coming from. Everyone ends up practicing the same thing.
