Walk in knowing nobody. Leave with a few new friends, some new words, and probably a story about how one game went sideways.

This is a weekly social night that mixes international and local people in Taipei. You practice languages over games and conversation, with no textbook and no pressure to sound perfect. Laughing at your own tones is part of it ;)

Why it exists

The idea is simple: connect foreigners with Taiwan and help them settle in here. Locals get real conversation practice and meet people from around the world. Newcomers get a friendly way into Taiwanese life, and someone to ask where the good 滷肉飯 is.

How the night goes

• Meet people. Come solo or bring a friend. Everyone's here to talk.

• Swap languages. Teach a phrase, learn a phrase, then switch.

• Play games. They break the ice faster than "so... where are you from?"
