Say your goal out loud at 2 PM. By 6 PM, a table of founders, freelancers and remote workers will ask whether you hit it.
That's the whole idea behind The Trenches. Working for yourself doesn't have to mean working by yourself. You won't find structured networking or forced discussion here. You bring the work, and the room brings the momentum.
A Monday in the trenches
14:00 huddle: name, project, goal
heads down. talk when it helps.
18:00 laptops close
+ dinner / drinks (energy permitting)
The Huddle. Everyone takes a minute to say who they are, what they're building and what they want done by the end of the session. It's accountability, not a pitch. Once your goal is out there, people know what you're pushing for and how they can help.
The in-between. Mostly you work. There are no scheduled breaks and no agenda, so you set your own pace. Grab a coffee when you need one and turn to your neighbor when you feel like it. That's where you can talk through a business-model pivot, a technical wall or the plain mental grind of going solo.
The reward. If anyone has energy left, the laptops close and the group heads out for a drink or dinner. That's usually where co-workers turn into friends.
Who pulls up
Founders, freelancers, digital nomads, remote workers and anyone with a project they actually want to move forward. Any industry is welcome, and so are students. If discussion-only meetups have worn you out, you'll fit right in.
