Your own work. A little company. An afternoon to get stuff done.
The Trenches brings founders, nomads, and remote workers together to work alongside each other—not sit through another discussion-only meetup. Freelancers, students, and people with projects from any industry are welcome too.
A quick Huddle, then your own pace
We open with a brief Huddle: introduce yourself, share what you’re working on, and name your goal for the afternoon. It’s a small dose of accountability that lets others know what you’re tackling and where they might help.
Then settle into your work. There’s no rigid agenda or scheduled break time. Step away when you need to; chat with a neighbor when it feels natural. No forced discussions or structured networking.
There’s room to swap ideas and talk through what’s stuck: a business-model pivot, a product or marketing question, a technical snag, or the grind of working solo.
Still have energy afterward? We may close the laptops and head out for dinner or a drink. That part is optional.
A few ground rules
Buy at least one drink or food item to support the venue.
No soliciting or sales. This is a place to work, not pitch.
