DN’XT language exchange

Here's the twist: this language exchange doesn't happen in one room. It takes up a whole multi-floor building just off Zhongshan North Road. So when the chat on one floor runs dry, you can take the stairs and find a new one.

How Thursday night goes

Taiwanese locals and foreigners show up at the same address every Thursday at 7 PM. You trade words, swap stories and probably correct each other's tones and slang. It's an exchange, so everyone teaches and everyone learns.

The building is interactive and spread over several floors, which keeps people moving and mixing. You won't be stuck with the first person you said hi to all night (unless you two really hit it off).

Nervous about your level?

Please don't be. The whole idea is to keep it chill. Mixing up words is just how you practice here, and half the room is doing the same thing in the other direction. Bring whatever language you have, even if it's just "hello."

Finding the building
