NTD 150 / NTD 100| Friday/ 週五 Board Games| Language | 桌遊

There are more than 300 boxes of board games on the shelves. You can't play them all in one Friday, but you can try.

The tricky part usually isn't the game. It's explaining the rules in your second language to someone who's explaining them back in theirs. That's how this night works: it's a board game table and a language exchange at once, and you meet people from all over Taipei and beyond while you play.

How it plays out

Pull up a chair, choose a box (or let the table pick one for you), and play in English and Mandarin. 英語、中文都可以。 Mix them mid-sentence if you need to. Nobody's grading you, and "wait, whose turn is it?" works in both languages.

No partner, no group, no problem. Showing up alone is normal here. You'll be in the middle of a game soon enough.

The essentials

The entry fee is NTD 150 for men and NTD 100 for women. Green tea is on the house while you plan your next move.
