This is a community-led, unofficial after-sprint—not an official PyCon TW event. Bring your laptop and something you want to work on, or come ready to find a project and lend a hand. No previous open-source contribution experience is required; basic Python programming experience is recommended.
Pick a project. Work on it together.
A sprint brings maintainers, contributors, and people new to open source into the same room to collaborate. Maintainers introduce their projects and explain where help would be useful. You choose a project that interests you and work alongside others on issues, features, code, documentation, testing, or other shared tasks.
If you’re new to contributing, you’re welcome to look around and find a starting point. If you already contribute, use the day to explore another project or work directly with fellow developers. Maintainers can meet potential collaborators, reconnect with existing contributors, and help newcomers get involved.

Want to host a project? Edit that same HackMD directly and add your project using its template. Your entry becomes part of the project list for participants to browse.
You don’t need a perfectly planned backlog. Bring an issue, a feature, documentation improvements, tests, or other work that people can tackle together.

If you know which project you’ll join, set up its basic development environment beforehand.
