Ten years. That's how long a loyal crew has kept the Wednesday Korean language exchange running, rain or shine. Same night of the week, same love for the language, a whole decade of it.
Now the table is getting bigger. English and French speakers are officially invited, so Wednesdays turn into a three-language night up on the 15th floor.
Pick your language
Korean. This is where it started. Ten years in, the Korean conversations are still the heart of the night. Bring the phrases you picked up from K-dramas and try them on real people.
English. For anyone who wants to practice English by actually talking, not just binge-watching series with subtitles on.
French. Been dreaming in Paris mode? Come test your bonjour and see how far it takes you.
You don't need to be fluent and you don't need to know anyone. Just show up, grab a drink, and say hi in whatever language feels least scary. Switching halfway through a sentence is very much allowed.
The essentials
Entry is NT$200 and includes one drink, alcoholic or not. Your choice. We meet at Ozora on the 15th floor of the Illume Hotel.
Come this Wednesday and say hello in at least one new language. 안녕하세요, hello, salut. See you on 15.
